Composer and teacher, Régis Campo was born in Marseille where he studied composition in the conservatory classes of G. Boef and J. Charpentier. He then continued in Paris at the CNSM in the classes of Alain Bancquart and Gérard Grisey. A great composer, E. Denisov considers him as "one of the most gifted of his generation". From 1999 to 2001 he was a resident at the Villa Medici in Rome. His works are played by the greatest orchestras and the greatest performers in the world.
