A la belle étoile, O Printemps....gentil roi, Pour une image, Une fée m'a parlé.
Recorded in 2012 by the soprano Marie Noëlle Cros: "Destinées"
"The melody that he approaches at the end of his life, appears as a secret garden, reflection of a musical soul of great delicacy and equally demanding. Daniel Stirn develops an extremely refined harmonic language, in the great tradition of the genre. If one obviously thinks of the intimist atmospheres of a Duparc or a Fauré, he could not be even an inspired follower, so great is his ability to empathize with the poems he sets to music. Stirn seems literally to awaken the sounds inscribed in the verses and waiting for a revelation. Rare faculty not so much of adaptation as sensitivity to find the right tone, to translate the appropriate climate to each poem. He thus develops from one author to another real talents of medium, with the acuity and the skill of an authentic passer."  Roland Duclos 2013-art critic Forum opera, the magazine of the operatic world.
