Promenade (Impromptu for guitar) by M Journeau

3,00

Promenade by Maurice Journeau or Impromptu for guitar difficulty: easy

"Promenade", with the initial title "Impromptu for guitar", is a very short work written by Maurice Journeau at the request of a child.
This late piece is therefore a reflection of the free and fluid writing style loved by the composer, as evidenced by his six "Impromptus" for piano or his "Four Impromptus for flute".

Maurice JOURNEAU was born in 1898 in the Basque Country, in Biarritz. He is the author of works for piano, organ, chamber music and orchestra.
His music, very close to that of Ravel, began to be discovered by many artists and by the general public during the 1990s. A regular discography has followed, allowing a wider diffusion of his works for piano and strings.
Maurice Journeau passed away in 1999 having witnessed the rise of his music. He leaves us a beautiful repertoire of about 75 works and numerous arrangements.
