Minuet for piano by M. Journeau
Maurice Journeau's first official work, composed in 1921, the Menuet was dedicated to Mademoiselle Paris, his childhood piano teacher and a well-known organist in Biarritz. In this revival of a dance from the past one can still discern the influence of Maurice Ravel, whose music was very widespread in the Basque Country.
